Criminals Tried to Sell Stolen Mining Equipment on Facebook

Nine people have been arrested in connection with the theft of cryptocurrency mining equipment in Malaysia.

Over 60 mining machines were stolen from Seri Kembangan, Selangor and the suspects attempted to sell the equipment via a website and on Facebook. 58 machines worth more than $127,000 (£91,000) have been recovered so far and it is believed many have already been sold to private buyers who would be unaware or the origins of the machines.
